An email popped up in my inbox letting me know I have had the bike for a year now. I downloaded all of my workouts from my dashboard and totaled up a few of the columns to see where I stood:
- Class Minutes: 16,176
- Total Output: 99,018kj
- Distance: 3342.06 miles
- Calories Burned: 18,6373
I am a data geek so seeing all of these numbers truly gives me a sense of accomplishment.
I also rolled over the 9,000 minute mark for 2021, which more than surpasses what I did in 2020. Last year, however, was about 90% cycling. It wasn’t until this year that I started to dig into the walking and other classes, so it totally makes sense to see a greater number of minutes.
After my C25K W8D1 run yesterday, I realized it was Global Running Day. Now it makes sense why I waited to go run on that specific day. I have been using the Garmin challenges to push myself be more active. I picked up these badges this week as well, so it was obviously the week of badges.
Garmin has different “levels” and points for these badges but I do not know what any of the levels mean. When I accumulate enough points and move up a level, I have no idea what that actually does. It doesn’t really matter to me and I won’t look it up. I just use these to do a few more activities than I normally would.
