My old Tumblr blog has been on my mind lately. On yesterday’s run, I found myself thinking about everything I had accomplished while trying to lose weight and how much fun I had writing about it and sharing photos. I downloaded my entire Tumblr blog to a local external drive so that I would not lose any of that data. Seeing it all makes me miss writing, but I worry about having the time and discipline to do it.
My thought is to take a shot at a “5 Minute Journal”.
I am going to set a timer for 5 minutes and start pouring my mind out on the blog. When the timer is up, then I am done. If I finish what I want to say before the time is up, fine. I figured I would do this at least during the week, and if time permits, I will hit it up on the weekend, too.
Blogging was always easier for me as I prefer the digital format and since this will be online, I am sure there will be some things I will decide to keep private and not write about. I am hopeful this will help get some thoughts and ideas out of my head and also give me some more interesting info to later come back to and read.
