Nutrition & Progress: Week 7

After 2 weeks of “base”, I have been “cutting” with reduced fats and lowered carbs on rest days. This past week, I was down another pound.  I believe next week I take measurements again, but I feel even better in my clothes than I did last week.  Shirts hang better, which is really nice.  Pants fit better, too.

Sunday we tossed the chicken in a crock pot and let it cook, then I chilled out for the rest of the day.  I got up early on Monday and cooked and prepped all the rest which seems to work great for me.  I get to rest on Sunday and still have time to get up and finish it all off.  The picture above isn’t every meal, just the stuff I have prepped ahead of time.  There are several meals that I like to cook on the spot and don’t do well prepping them.  But these make a huge difference in time.

Also, I have found several times that I wanted to sleep in, but in the back of my mind, I knew that I already had all of the meals ready for training day, so I went into the gym anyway.
