I didn’t even remember turning my alarms off. Although I had every intention on getting up and doing something active, it just wasn’t meant to be I guess. When I did finally wake up I felt like I had been hit by a truck. Everything was so sore and I didn’t feel recovered at all. Going to start adding in about 20g more carbs and 5g more fats next week and see how that goes.

One of the best snatch days in recent memory. Everything felt really good and even though I was taking longer than normal to work to the HS, I didn’t mind because it felt good, so I was just riding that wave. While I missed the attempt at 217, loading the bar with a PR on the snatch was a victory in itself. For the CJ, I got buried in the first clean which sit me back on my heels. So I caved under it. On the second attempt the clean was better, but the heat really got to me and I was so light headed before the jerk that I had nothing left to really give it a good attempt. To work to 96-97% on both lifts felt really good though.
